Over the next few months the history pages that are currently missing will be completed. There has been a lot written about the history of Dee Why Surfing Fraternity much of which is either incorrect or missing vital pieces of information. As we want to have the history for each decade to be as acurate as possible it means researching, interviewing and gathering. Once completed this site will provide the comprehensive history of surfing at Dee Why. Starting from the late 1950's and running through to the present time. During which we will be highlighting the contribution Dee Why made to Australian surfing. The history will also detail the controversial events that led to the establishment of the Dee Why Surfing Fraternity. This site will also showcase the many characters who over the years made Dee Why such a special place and of course, we will highlight Dee Why's waves.
